NUR 442 - Career Exploration in Nursing

Credit(s): 3

In this elective course, the student will have a clinically-focused experience in a specialty area new to them. The experience is designed collaboratively with student and faculty to meet individual student needs. At the end of the experience, the student will be able to determine if this new area of practice is a future career option. The student must have a minimum 3.5 QPA. This course includes 90 hours of clinical work, an analysis paper, and weekly contact with faculty.

Prerequisite(s): NUR 351 , NUR 361 , NUR 363 , and Departmental Permission
