NUR 350 - Seminar in Nursing Research

Credit(s): 3

Course introduces the research process and its application to scholarship and evidenced-based nursing practice. Qualitative and Quantitative methods are reviewed. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking and writing. This course enhances the student’s ability to apply and integrate nursing conceptual frameworks, clinical research and evidenced-based practice. Student is prepared to be an informed consumer of nursing research. This is a hybrid course; Classes will be held on line and meet a minimum of 4 times on campus within the semester. The 15 week Hybrid section of this course meets on ground during weeks: 1,5,10 and 15.
