In this three semester, 18-credit Computer-Aided Design Technician Certificate program, students will use SolidWorks in conjunction with blueprints to create 3D models of parts, and will use Mastercam and blueprints for creating models and G-code for use on CNC machines. Areas of focus of the program include reading and understanding blueprints, creating 3D models in SolidWorks and Mastercam, and creating measurement routines with PC-DMIS.
Students must complete all the graduation requirements as stated in the catalog and maintain a GPA of 2.3 or higher in the coursework.
