HSR 210 - Introduction to Research in Human Services

This course introduces students to research processes and methods in human services and related fields. Students will build skills for identifying peer-reviewed reports of empirical research, assessing their credibility, synthesizing these works, and evaluating the applicability of the findings to professional practice. Emphasis will be placed on constructing, presenting, and disseminating a brief literature review on a focused topic.
