MSN 620 - Policy, Politics, and Organization of Healthcare

This course provides opportunities to expand the student’s knowledge and understanding of the political and policy making process. Students will learn to serve as change agents in the healthcare system through their work in an advanced nursing role. Emphasis will be on the application of the principles of social justice, equity, and ethics in the context of policy development, political engagement, and advocacy within the healthcare system. Students will develop their role as nurse advocates committed to improving health outcomes

Prerequisite(s): MSN 505  and MSN 510
