WELCOME…
to Goodwin University’s 2025-2026 academic catalog. At this time last year, we were preparing to launch our 25th Anniversary celebration. Since then, we have brought together the many voices of Goodwin - past and present, internal and external, students and professors - to tell the unique story of our educational community. While our silver anniversary year is winding down, our theme of “Reinventing Education” continues to resonate clearly as we move forward.
We have long maintained that higher education cannot continue “business as usual” if we are to effectively serve 21st-century learners. The demands of the workforce have increased, as has the range of skillsets required to secure personally satisfying and financially rewarding careers.
As they enter the workforce, today’s learners will often be called upon to assume leadership roles. We believe that the Goodwin community is an ideal place to grow as a person as well as a professional. With our history as a pathway into the helping professions, we firmly believe that our community makes a positive difference in the world, especially for those who most need our help.
Today’s learners need more agency, not only in what they study, but in how they study. They are realizing that each academic journey is unique, and the more options they have before them, the better they can act as true self-advocates for their future successes. As president of Goodwin University, I am incredibly heartened and inspired by this culture of purpose-focused learning, and I am so honored that you have chosen to join us.
