MSN 610 - Seminar in Nursing Research Credit(s): 3
In this course, the graduate student develops proficiency in utilization of research-based evidence for professional advanced nursing practice. Students will apply the legal and ethical principles related to research with human subjects and participants. Quantitative and qualitative research studies are reviewed and critiqued with an additional focus on methods of dissemination. An integrative review of the literature is accomplished to inform and affect change, improve outcomes, and ultimately contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge and evidence-based practice. Students will integrate and advocate for evidence-based nursing practice to improve care decisions and healthcare environments.
