NUR 313 - Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Credit(s): 3
This course provides the student with the opportunity to learn about the research process and its relevance to nursing scholarship and evidence-based practice. Students will be able to differentiate between qualitative and quantitative research methods while advancing clinical judgement skills. Emphasis will be on developing the student’s ability to apply nursing conceptual frameworks, incorporate clinical research findings, and engage in evidence-based practice. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to engage with nursing research as informed consumers.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 208 , NUR 302 , NUR 308 , and NUR 376 Corequisite(s): NUR 217 and NUR 323
