OTA 220 - Occupational Therapy Assistant Seminar

This course presents problem-based learning cases to enable students to apply the knowledge learned during their fieldwork experiences. Students will share their gleaned information related to including but not limited to: OT theory, client-centered interventions, activity analysis, standardized assessments, and more. The course provides for discussion of Level II fieldwork experiences and an opportunity to apply logical thinking, critical analysis, problem solving, and creativity to application problems. The course addresses preparation for registration and licensing as well as preparation for the role of professional on the job site.
