ACC 220 - Managerial Accounting


Credit(s): 3

This course provides a basic understanding of the role of accounting information in the business decision-making process. Students will learn to calculate break-even point, target net income, job order and process costing and to use accounting in a manufacturing environment. Students will learn to prepare reports with recommendations to management regarding financial decisions. Using the Master Budget and Preparing Flexible Budget with variance analysis will also be covered. Students who have taken ACC 225  cannot earn credit for this course.

Prerequisite(s): C- or higher in ACC 101
