Universal Instructional Design Graduate Academic Certificate

In this fully online, Universal Instructional Design graduate academic certificate, you will learn how to proactively apply the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to create inclusive, accessible, and flexible learning experiences. Intentional application of UDL to your instructional design practice or to the (re)design of learning experiences can afford all learners not only equal access to content but also the same opportunities for success. The certificate curriculum provides hands-on experiences with applying the UDL framework to design learning experiencess in different modalities including in-person, online, and hyflex.

This academic graduate certificate is suitable for pre-K-12 teachers, instructional coaches, higher education faculty, instructional designers, and professional developers in business and industry who are seeking to advance in their careers.

All courses are asynchronous online and must be taken in order as listed in the plan of study. All courses are required, and each must be completed with a minimum grade of “C”.
